Tyler's 5th Birthday

For Tyler's birthday this year we went down to Pirate Island in Orem and had pizza and played arcade games. Then we went home and had a Batman cake. Sadly, since we were in the middle of moving the cake was a little on the plain side but Tyler didn't seem to mind :) It was funny because Alison had heard about Pirate Island she was so excited to go but once we got there she freaked out and wouldn't leave her mom's side. They had it decorated for Halloween already and between the spider webs and the talking skeletons she was terrified! Since the place resembles Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean ride so much we decided there was no point in taking the kids to Disnyland for a few years since they wouldn't appreciate it :)
